The AI Health 2026 event will be take place on 22.-23. Oktober 2026 in the Van Swieten Saal of the Medical University of Vienna. 

AI Health 2026 will be organized by the Comprehensive Center for Artificial Intelligence in Medicine. It will showcase cutting-edge research at the interface of AI and medicine conducted at the center, ranging from prediction in intensive care, interfaces with biological nervous systems, to AI in surgery, and scientific discovery. 

Keynotes will explore regulation of AI on the European level (Karl Stöger), precision neuropathology (Felix Sahm) and physical AI in the operating theatre (Nassir Navab), AI and religions (Sigrid Müller), and ethics when patients turn to AI (Elisabeth Langmann).

A panel including Markus Müller (MedUni), Horst Bischof (TU Graz), Ulrike Attenberger (MedUni, Radiologie), Ursula Jakubek (FWF), Regina Weinhüllner (AWS), and Georg Langs (CAIM) will discuss the ongoing transformation of healthcare and science through AI, and the positioning of Austria and Europe.
