Comprehensive Center for AI in Medicine

The Comprehensive Center for AI in Medicine is a interdisciplinary cross-departmental center bringing together a team of researchers in the area of AI, machine learning and medicine. We are curious about how machine learning can change biomedical science, about new avenues in medical care ranging from radiology, pathology, to dermatology, surgery, immunology, and many other fields, and in advancing methodology to be able to tackle the most pressing questions in precision medicine and prevention.

CAIM is driven by its principal investigators, leading research groups across the entire spectrum of biomedicine. Have a look at our labs, the translation of AI to clinical care, spin-offs coming out of our community, our publications, open positions, or our opening on June 4th 2025. We host an international talk series and run a bi-weekly seminar showing work in progress.
