The Competence Center Artificial Intelligence in Dentistry (AI-Dent) is an interdisciplinary research group at the University Clinic of Dentistry. We develop and apply modern AI technologies to improve diagnostics, prediction, and treatment planning across a broad range of dental disciplines. Our work focuses on integrating diverse clinical data, such as imaging, functional measurements, and biological profiles, and translating AI models into clinically relevant tools. At the core of our mission is the development of robust, explainable, and practical AI solutions that support decision-making and improve patient care.
